Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if APE straps will fit my truck bed ?

Answer- APE straps fit bed sizes from 3 feet up to 8 feet long. As long as you have a set of strong existing anchor points in your bed you are ready to go.

What if I cant see my tiedown anchors because my bed liner doesn't have a hole in it ?
Answer- Some bed liners and very specific for the model and will have the holes where they should be, some are generic and dont have holes taken out. So you can cut a hole in your bed liner if you are sure the anchor points are there, but we recommend comparing to an exact model of you vehicle to pinpoint them before you decide to cut a hole in your liner.

What if I have a truck bed tool box ? Will I still be able to install the cables?
Answer - More than likely, yes. If you have a tool box that is mounted in your bed adjacent to the cap of the pickup you should have room to attach the cable to the anchor point next to the box. We would suggest moving the box out of the way for an easier install but we are sure you can still do it. In fact, if you have one of these tool boxes we would suggest installing the Ratchet end of the APE Strap there, that way the rest of the strap is for attaching.
